Homemade Vanilla French Toast
Eggs, Milk, and Vanilla
Cinnamon in Milk

Serves 6
This recipe makes 12 perfectly flavourful pieces of french toast.
Each serving includes 2 pieces of Vanilla French Toast:

Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups of 1% Dairyland Milk
- 6 Tbsp Rogers Granulated White Sugar ( seems like a lot of sugar but amount is needed to achieve maximum flavour)
- 3 Tbsps Kirkland Signature Pure Vanilla Extract
- 3/4 Tsp ground cinnamon
- 12 slices your favourite bread ( I used Buttercup 100% Whole Wheat Bread )
- 3 Tbsp of Great Value Salted Butter

Directions:
1.Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
2.Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3.Dip bread slices in egg mixture two slices at a time and let it soak in the egg mixture for 45 seconds but the longer you let it soak the more flavourful the end result will be. Shake off extra egg mixture off slices.
4.Brown on each side for a minute and a half in the skillet.
5.Serve warm with a very light dusting of icing sugar and a drizzle of maple syrup or just serve warm without adding any icing sugar or maple syrup. It's perfectly sweet just as is.
